For the past 4 years the Green Line Quintet has played Classic Hard Bop Jazz from the 1950's and '60's. All of the original members lived on the proposed and now mythical Green Line Seattle Monorail route.
The band exists but to find the best, B-Side Blue Note era hard bop music from groups like Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers, Hank Mobley, Lee Morgan, Kenny Dorham and members compose original music in a similar style.
